About

Initiated by David Price (1940-2019), architect and town planner. His architectural education was made possible by grants and scholarships available at the time. Aware of the cost of education today he wanted to be able to offer support to young, talented people from disadvantaged and low-income backgrounds who wish to study architecture. His objective is now possible with a new, privately managed award offered in his memory. The bursary is open for any single year of study in a full-time ARB/RIBA validated course or programme in architecture, and is for the purposes of acquiring the relevant personal equipment and resources to carry out those studies. There are ten bursaries available this year, and each bursary provides a £5,000 cash sum.
